Project: Chicken Coop--Check!

One of the first projects that we decided on when we got to CICFO was building chicken coops for the orphanage. The reason we chose that project was two fold. For one, it would help to provide a protein source for the orphans diet. The second reason, it would provide an opportunity for an increased source of income--one where the children could help to be involved.

First, I have to say Hats Off to Doug and Matt! They had the vision and insight on how and where to make it happen. The going was tough at times with broken tools
& shovels and electrical outages. The project is now complete and we are excited for the outcome! I thought I would give you a little glimpse of what helping hearts and hands can accomplish!
